There are many formal entrances to engaging with the world that extend beyond the seen. Using sound as a starting point, I worked with different waveforms of bird calls as abstract form. The different calls were processed through visualizing software as formal experiments. From there, they were treated as pure form, coming together as abstract shapes. The five bird species were chosen based on their onomatopoetic calls, creating a strange connection between form, sound, and language.
